The introductory scope excludes unsafe battery work, unauthorised unlocking and advanced board repair without additional supervised training.

Entry requirements

• Age 16 or above; basic computer literacy and ability to follow workshop safety instructions.
• Basic numeracy; no previous repair qualification required.
• Ability to attend supervised practical sessions; discuss accessibility support before enrolment.
