In short. We collect what we need to register, teach and certify you. We never sell it. Certificate checks show only the name, course, number and dates. You can ask to see or correct your details at any time.

What we collect, and why
When you register for a course we ask for the details we need to enrol and teach you:
- your name, and your NIC, passport or other ID number — so each person has one student record, whichever branch or course they come to;
- your date of birth, address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, and email — so we can reach you;
- your O/L, A/L and other qualifications, and your current job — to check you meet a course's entry requirements;
- a parent or guardian's name and contact details, if you are under 18 or choose to give them;
- copies of documents you hand in (ID, birth certificate, results, a photograph) — kept with your record.
While you study we keep your course, branch, fees and payments, exam outcomes and approval status, because we cannot run a course without them.
When we issue a certificate we record your name, course, study dates, award date and the Certificate No. that goes with it.
Other courses. We only send you news about other courses if you tick the box on the registration form. Leaving it unticked never affects your registration, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Certificate verification
Anyone can check a certificate at our verification page by typing its Certificate No. Only an exact number returns a result: there is no search by name and no list of near matches.
A match shows the name on the certificate, the course, the certificate number and the dates. It never shows an ID number, address, phone number, email or anything else about you. To stop the page being used to guess numbers, we briefly count lookups from the same address and slow down anyone making an unusual number of them.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
A certificate has to stay verifiable for employers and universities long after a course ends, so we keep the certificate record and your student record for as long as that is needed. Contact details we no longer need can be removed on request.
Our records live in a password-protected system where each staff member has their own login and their access depends on their role. Uploaded documents are stored outside the public website.
Your choices
Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, you can ask us:
- what details we hold about you, and for a copy;
- to correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- to stop using your details for other-course news, at any time;
- to delete or restrict details we no longer need — except where we must keep them, such as the record behind a certificate we have issued.
Email or call us using the details above and we will reply. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.

If how we handle personal details changes, we will update this page and the date below.
