Diploma in CAD Drafting with AutoCAD

What you'll study

• CAD workspace, coordinates and precision drawing
• Layers, line types, dimensions and annotation
• Blocks, external references and drawing organisation
• Plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings
• Layouts, plotting and quality assurance
• Introductory 3D concepts and a complete drawing portfolio

Proposed study themes — confirmed against the issuing body's module list where one applies.

Course completion is separate from Autodesk certification or authority to approve construction designs.

Entry requirements

• Age 17 or above; GCE O/L or equivalent secondary education, or relevant experience considered by admissions.
• School-level mathematics and basic computer skills.
• Prior AutoCAD study is not required; familiarity with technical drawing is helpful.

Live online demonstrations and supervised screen-sharing labs, with weekly drawing corrections. Work from a defined drafting brief and maintain revision records.

Create a coordinated drawing set with dimensions, details, sheet layouts and a checked PDF issue.
